Every effort is maintained to keep the cost of treats low. When packing new treats cost of the raw goods may change the weight of the treats given in a pouch to maintain the $5.00 retail price. In the event that treat inventory is low, additional lead time will be needed to make a fresh batch of treats to fill your order. If time is of the essence, please inquire before placing your order. Treats are donated to a animal shelter if they are over 60 days from the date of procuction. Other payment options available. Shipping charges are calculated by weight and box dimensions - and addional treats, customer responsible to purchase treats, may ship for the same rate.
Treats should be stored in an airtight container. Storing properly will give an long shelf life.
I currently am storing my treats for Bella and Boomer in a food safe canister meant to store sugar or flour. I keep the treats in the fridge. I store them this way for two reasons. First, it keeps the container off the counters. Secondly, and the most important reason, when I give Bella and Boomer a treat I am taking it from the fridge, the same place that Daddy gets his meals from. I know, bad Daddy for tricking Bella and Boomer.
