Dogs cant have chocolate, but they can have Carob Powder. Carob Powder has a similar taste to unsweetened chocolate or Cocoa Powder. These treats have been hand rolled and hand cut into shapes of bones. Then they were dehydrated which allows extended shelf and adds to the crunchy factor. This process also makes the treat harder and recommended for larger dogs. Although, Bella and Boomer, quality control managers, had no problem when sampling.

Treats should be stored in an airtight container. Storing properly will give an long shelf life.
I currently am storing my treats for Bella and Boomer in a food safe canister meant to store sugar or flour. I keep the treats in the fridge. I store them this way for two reasons. First, it keeps the container off the counters. Secondly, and the most important reason, when I give Bella and Boomer a treat I am taking it from the fridge, the same place that Daddy gets his meals from. I know, bad Daddy for tricking Bella and Boomer.
